ABOUT KARA
Kara Colvin, best known for her song ‘Fired Up,’ is a singer-songwriter and musician who has been performing professionally since the age of seventeen. She is a vocalist as well as a multi-instrumentalist, playing: violin, guitar, piano, and ukulele. She began songwriting when she was five years old and dreamed of performing those songs ever since. Kara graduated from both Bak Middle School of the Arts and Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts in South Florida before being the first to pursue a minor in Performing Arts at her college.
At eighteen, Kara released her first album in two parts, ‘Daybreak’ and ‘Nightfall,’ of which was self written, produced, recorded, and mixed and mastered. She has released many singles and an EP since and is currently working on recording her second album.
In 2022, Kara earned an official Grammy Award Consideration from The Recording Academy for the 65th Annual Grammy Awards for her track ‘Fired Up’ for Best Pop Solo Performance.
