Bio
Kara Colvin is a 23 year old singer-songwriter and musician. She started writing songs at five years old, playing music at six years old, and doing paid gigs at 17 years old. She put out her first single at 16 and released her first album at 18, which was written, produced, mixed, and mastered by her. Kara plays violin, guitar, piano, ukulele, and is learning the bass guitar.
Kara graduated from college in May of 2023 with her minor being in Performing Arts. She previously attended Dreyfoos School of the Arts and Bak Middle School of the Arts as a strings major.
In 2022, Kara earned an official Grammy Award Consideration from the Recording Academy for the 65th Annual Grammy Awards for her track "Fired Up" in the Best Pop Solo Performance category.
